Module Overview
In this course, you played a vital role as an HR consultant, planning for
a smooth rollout of organizational changes and ensuring all
stakeholders understand their responsibilities. From an organization’s
point of view, HR facilitates change as per the request of internal
stakeholders. Sometimes HR also plans and implements organizational
changes due to external factors.
Several changes due to technological advances significantly affect
today’s world of business. The Fourth Industrial Revolution has
distorted the boundaries between the physical, digital, and biological
worlds. The technological advances in artificial intelligence (AI),
robotics, the internet of things (IoT), 3D printing, genetic engineering,
and quantum computing have given humankind a push that has not
been previously experienced. Consequently, Fourth Industrial
Revolution skills such as critical thinking, people management,
negotiation, judgment, and decision-making have become the need of
the hour.
In this module, you will learn about the responsibility that leaders of
organizations are expected to take up. You will learn about the need to
work with the workforce, government, and external entities to plan,
lead, or facilitate organizational change.
At the end of the module, you will participate in the final discussion of
the course. You will share your key learnings on leading organizational
change from this course. You will also reflect upon your own
experiences dealing with unplanned changes at work or in your
personal life through a video check-in.
