Some of the concepts that resonated with me were related to building
brand equity. Building brand equity is important to the sucess of any
business. As I read through the course learnings, I sometimes would
stop and think of how I, as a consumer, am influenced to choose one
brand over the other, and how some brand logos have the power to
influence purchasing decisions. Another key take-away for me was
learning how inbound marketing strategies influence different
demographic cohort groups. I also enjoyed reading about how SEO can
be used in digital marketing efforts to generate leads and customer
engagement.
Effective leaders must portray an image that aligns with the company's
core values. A strong effective leader must be able to influence
behavior, be a visionary, be competent in their role, and be empathetic
enough to build trust with followers.
Having worked in logistics operations for many years has thought me
that automation plays a huge role in remaining competitive in the
industry. As a leader, I don't need to know exactly how algorithms
work, but I do need to be competent enough to know how they can
affect productivity. i Humility is a huge part of who I am as a person, and
I am always willing to learn from anybody who is willing to teach me
something new. I want my personal brand image to portray
assertiveness, transparency, and innovation.
