Do you agree with the statement above?
I agree with Bititici's statement. "What people respect about the companies is not how
they are structured or their specific approaches to management, but their capabilities—an
ability to innovate, for example, or to respond to changing customer needs." For me, a
company that provides excellent customer service, I'm sold, ensuring I'm satisfied and go
beyond.
How does organizational culture affect capability and performance?
Building and maintaining a solid company culture is essential for businesses of all sizes.
Companies with a positive culture are more enjoyable workplaces and, more importantly,
tend to have better retention rates. When employees feel comfortable sharing their ideas
without receiving negative feedback, it ensures employees that their talents are included.
What do you think about Companies A and B's organizational culture and
capabilities and their role in the two companies' performance?
After reviewing both Company A's and Company B's Internal Memo, I found a
significant difference regarding the HR Departments – Company A has a complete
internal HR, whereas Company B has an outsourced consortium. Company B's president
is new and lacks experience in the aviation industry with no vision. On the other hand,
Company A's Vice President of Sales seems to be over sales positively. These are just
two different approaches to organizational culture and capabilities.
