I agree it is important to look at financials and stakeholders when identifying a high-performing
or successful organization. Those are typical factors that I look at as well, so I understand why
your original thoughts have not changed. In addition, for me I also realized the importance of
looking beyond the traditional parameters and digging deeper into how customers and the growth
of employee's factor into creating a successful organization. For me I have never done a balanced
scorecard before, so it was very new for me to evaluate each company using that tool.
I also agree that employee growth and training are factors that need to be focused on for building
successful teams and organizations. I think companies are starting to realize that putting
employees first really improves performance and helps the company to grow. Like you, I also
