services, and mobile phone services under the brand Xfinity Mobile. While NBCUniversal is a
media and entertainment business. Some of the networks owned are NBC, CNBC, MSNBC,
Bravo, and Syfy, to name a few. This journal entry will focus on the Comcast Cable business
side.
Comcast’s customer base is focused on residential users, with subscribers in the range of
29.8 million versus business customers reaching 2.3 million, according to their Q2 2022 earnings
report. Although, the Q2 2022 earnings report shows a decline in new residential subscribers by
10,000. While business customers gain 10,000 new subscribers, it still shows that the residential
customer base well exceeds the business customer base.
