Learning Objectives
By the end of this module, you will meet these learning objectives:
Explain drivers for positive corporate culture through the
promotion of organizational values
Assess the stages of leadership development
Plan an internal communication to promote change across
an organization
Module Overview
Internal communication acts as an effective mode of communication
between the employees and the management of an organization. It
involves producing and delivering important messages and campaigns
on behalf of the management to their employees. This mode of
communication also helps generate a dialogue between the employees
and their management, to provide suggestions for process
improvements and to address queries, if any.
In this module, you will learn in more detail about the importance of
internal communication for any organization as well as review
guidelines to improve the effectiveness of internal communication.
The significance of corporate social responsibility and social media
usage in improving customer relationships will be also covered in this
module.
A useful technique for formulating an internal communication is to first
develop an outline for the content you want to include. This requires
taking time before you begin the process of writing to consider what
you want to say and why you want to say it. Outlining your content is
well worth the time and effort. During this module, you will draft and
submit an outline of your project to gain peer and instructor feedback.
You are encouraged to use this feedback to help build out your project
due at the end of Module Nine.
