This leadership skill is defined as thinking in the long-term strategy for achieving the
organization’s success. This is about preparing in the now for the future. Focusing on this skill
can help Eduardo plan for unsure outcomes that will help his team in negotiating through these
obstacles. It was stated that Eduardo is extremely intelligent and typically gets the solution
before others. He also gets frustrated because of the lack of responsiveness. Focusing on strategic
thinking will not only utilize his gift for fast problem-solving but will also set up his team for
success.

Being able to understand one’s emotion and manage it as well as understanding and
