Business System Analysis/Design
The decision-making matrix was new to me and if I am being honest, a bit challenging as
with anything new. From my understanding, a decision-making matrix consists of all the
necessary components when making certain decisions that have various alternatives. This allows
someone to weigh the benefits of each decision to ensure you pick the one that best suits you.
Therefore, in relation to this project the valuables can be adjusted to the need of another business
scenario. For example, pool companies who offer a variety of styles and features would need to
use the decision-making matrix to make sure they are competitive amongst their competitors and
are providing potential customers what they need. Social computing could aid in the company
ensuring the customers are satisfied if they have ample different pool designs to choose from and
the company could also advertise any promotions in order to draw in more computers. Also,
cloud computing would benefit the company. This company would use the matrix to determine if
cloud computing would benefit them should they open new locations in an attempt to expand
