Module Overview
This course has explored the fundamental aspects of information
technology. Each fundamental component is a distinct field of
expertise, yet to make an overall IT system function effectively, each
component is needed. An IT professional must have a basic
understanding of the technical elements of an IT system and how they
interact. The following topics are reviewed in this module:
The human–computer interface
Systems thinking
Computer programming and scripting
Computer networks
Hardware and software
Information assurance
This module will apply all the concepts discussed in the course in a
final project summarizing the IT system of a retail and online store.
Additionally, you will be working through a variety of SNHU Career
resources in order to compose the personal profile portion of a
resume.
