Define the following IT concepts, and describe their role and importance within a

IP address
The IP address is a system's assigned unique identity that can be used to
locate it on a network.
This is used to uniquely identify the system and may be used to locate a
specific machine in a multi-user network.
DNS
Because IP addresses are difficult to remember for various web hosting
services, DNS (Domain Name Server) is used to give a Domain Name
Service where the alphabetic references are provided in order to access
various IP addresses.
Since we frequently visit various IP addresses while using the internet or at
work, DNS is utilized to translate them into alphabetical names. E.g.,

Server and client
The components of a distributed application structure over a computer
network are the server and the client.
The server serves as the network's central node for storing all data, or it may
be thought of as a powerful centralized machine to which all workstations
are connected and which are referred to as clients of that server when they
