The tool that I selected for this discussion is Jira. Jira is an issue and
project tracking application used by teams to manage software. The
platform allows users to see the status, conversations, and unfolding
progress for each team objective. It has both built-in and
customizable software shipping solutions (Seymour, 2021). I have
used Jira at work to submit tickets to the IT Help Desk and monitor
progress. An example of how Epic Analyst might use Jira is
intercepting an Epic Hyperspace request from a medical coder and
working with their team members to program a new medical coding
charge review edit into the healthcare organization's billing system.
