So, for tools I recently discovered from our reading, Mondays.com.
The reading claims that it is the best tool for communication and
project management and I would have to agree. I created a free
account to be able to play around in the website tool, and I must say
I would definitely recommend it for any company I will be working
for in the future. Its design is simplistic, user friendly, and easy to
understand - quickly. It allows collaboration in real time, allows
project managers to manage the risks and costs of whatever they are
currently working on, there can be customizable rules and policies in
the project that the team will abide by, and easy communication
tools so there can be an easy flow of communication. You can also
display progress on the project you're currently working on, and have
it update in real time. All of these provide boosts to team
performance, and I believe allow for a better team dynamic.
A tool that I have used before is anti-malware software. I have
personally used MacAfee, Norton, and Avast. Out of the three I
would recommend Avast, as I have had the best experience with it
thus far. This software detects, prevents, and removes malware /
viruses from your personal computer. This is extremely useful for any
individual using computers as it is not something you would want to
happen to your computer. Especially if you're working for the
government, DOD, etc., and have sensitive information on your
computer.
