The first topic I chose is clinical information systems. Clinical information systems are
used for accessing patient records, producing reports, and guiding clinical decision
making (Shi,2018). Clinical information systems and healthcare informatics influenced a
new era of patient care. The more medical facilities that acquired the information
systems were able to provide improved patient care and safety by having access to all the
patients’ documents, reports, labs, and procedures.
