For the topic you selected (voting rights, climate change, or justice), determine the
following:
1. Draw on previous personal experiences to provide information about whatKnow (K):
you already know about your topic in relation to each lens.
The topic I have chosen is justice. What I do know is that if you were to ask several people
their definition of justice, you would likely get a different response from each individual. From
my own personal experience and what I see in the news and social media, justice is rarely served
in the time or manner we believe it should, and in some cases not all. I also know that law
enforcement officials have a protocol they are required to follow in order to protect themselves,
although not always agreed with by society, yet they do have to adhere to these policies.
2. Determine what you want to know about your topic in relation to each Want to know (W):
