• This organization's purpose is to assist students, those new to
the profession or educators in the Human Service industry by
providing them with a platform where they can collaborate,
further education, and promote social justice.
• I would consider joining this organization because they are non-
profit, and the membership fee is reasonable. I also find it
interesting that the organization centers on ethical behavior.
Sometimes in the line of human services, it is quite often that
you will come across and ethical dilemma and it is good to know
that there are organizations that can assist you when faced with
these situations and help strengthen your ethical code. a

* This organization’s purpose is to assist its members in their
professional development and to provide guidance regarding
standards (ethical or legal) in the field of social work.
* If I decide to go into social work, I would consider joining this
organization because they have been around for many years (since
1955) and has the largest membership which could mean more
chances for collaboration. However compared to NOHS, the cost of
membership is almost doubled.
