International Classification of Disease (ICD)was designed for
providers to share information all across the globe. It consists of
coding categories and universal coding. It is new user friendly and
decreases the chance of making mistakes. The most recent updates
show progress in medicine, data for health care safety, diagnostic for
recommendations for mental health conditions, and documentation
for Covid-19 certificates. A key principle in this revision was to
simplify the coding and provide users with all necessary electronic
tooling. This will allow health care professional to more easily and
