2. Summarizeyour source.
It seems this source is arguing that trucking companies are finding other ways to
find drivers other than fixing the current problem.
This source is using this evidence to support the argument: Trucking companies
hiring women and younger generations.
3. Credibility and Relevance
Personally, I believe the source is doing a good job of supporting its arguments
because its interview with a women driver shows that women can adapt easier to
the way the industry is changing.
I will work to refute this counterargument in my essay by stating by trying to find
ways other ways of getting supposedly “more drivers” by hiring women and
younger people, they need to just fix the problems that are currently issues.

2. Summarizeyour source.
It seems this source is arguing that if truckers are available to run miles, and run
those miles safely, there is a vary decent wage available.
This source is using this evidence to support the argument: Truckers’ wages and
salaries vary, but in this industry and the busy season approaching there is plenty
of money to be made.
3. Credibility and Relevance
Personally, I believe the source is doing a bad job of supporting its arguments
because there is really no evidence other than saying there is a busy season
approaching. These drivers must support their families year-round not just during
a busy season.
I will work to refute this counterargument in my essay by letting my audience
know that this is just another coverup stating that drivers can make decent money
during a busy season. I will point out their supporting evidence is just a cover up
because drivers must support families year-round not just during a busy season.

2. Summarizeyour source.
It seems this source is arguing that trucking companies are having to give raises
and accommodate driver needs to retain drivers. Which in return will keep the
“driver shortage” average down.
This source is using this evidence to support the argument that a trucking
company built a home away from home in Salt Lake City where drivers can stay
when they’re not on the road is order to attract and retain drivers. Another
company in Arkansas raised drivers pay by 33% and the company also pledged to
bring drivers home more often and do away with a waiting period for health
insurance. Their retention has been amazing since the changes have been made.
3. Credibility and Relevance
Personally, I believe the source is doing a good job of supporting its
arguments because the trucking companies are actually showing statics
that by making changes trucking companies have offered more to the
drivers and shown respect their number of drivers that are employed have
risen.
I think this source will be very helpful in supporting my argument because
I am able to show proof that once the trucking company show respect,
give raises, and benefits that they will be able to retain drivers.

2. Summarizeyour source.
It seems this source is arguing that a trucking company can make changes to the
way they treat drivers and pay drivers. This will be easier for the company to
retain and recruit drivers.
This source is using this evidence to support the argument: Proven evidence that
by taking care of a driver will increase driver retention and cut out the driver
shortage.
3. Credibility and Relevance
Personally, I believe the source is doing a good job of supporting its
arguments because of the evidence it is proving with having an actual
trucking company fix the issues of driver problems and they are not
having driver issues now that the problems have been fixed.
I think this source will be very helpful in supporting my argument because
I will have solid proof that buy this trucking company pledging to take
care of their drivers that the real drivers shortage lies within the walls of
the trucking company to fix.
