I am going to use a number of tools for the purpose of analysis. One of the
main tools that I will use for the visualization model is Tableau. The rationale
behind using this tool is that it is easy to use and can conveniently handle a
huge volume of data (Bokhare & Metkewar, 2021). Moreover, it serves as a
powerful tool for effective time series analysis. The forecasting feature helps
in making better future predictions within a specific range of errors. Another
reason for using this tool is that it allows the identification of location-
specific information from the given data and helps in creating maps that
match the data entries to the relevant country, state, or city.
R is another tool that I will use for the visualization model. The rationale
behind using this tool is that it helps in creating graphs relevant to the text
mining component. Moreover, R is also an ideal tool for the model as it has
powerful text mining packages like ‘SnowballC’, ‘wordcloud’, and ‘tm’.
Customizing graphs is also more intuitive and easy with this tool.
For the predictive models, the tool that I will mainly use is SAS Enterprise
Miner. The rationale behind using this tool is that it is an advanced data
mining tool that helps in developing predictive and descriptive models in
much less time. The classification chart is another useful tool that I will use
in the analysis of the predictive model. The rationale behind using it is that it
helps in creating effective visualization of the outcomes. It can show the bar
graphs of the incorrect as well as the correct predictions in the validation and
training sets. ROC curve is yet another tool that I will use in the analysis of
predictive models. I will use this as it can show the sensitivity of the models
plotted over the specificity of the models.
