• How did your company do at the end of the first time you completed the
simulation compared with at your last run-through?
I think when coming my first simulation run to the last run it was very
different. I think I made better decision on the first run and brought the
company to regional business than comparing to the last run and brought the
company down to local business level. This happened because I change my
decision towards the family in the last run rather than getting outside expertise
to help as I did in my first run.
• How did the company's growth change over the course of the three run-
throughs?
I thing growth wise company definitely did worse as I went through all the
three run. I kept changing my decision on every run in trying to make family
happy and keep them part of the company. Since many of the family member
didn't like my decision of getting outside experts resources to help drive the
company decisions.
Which of your decisions do you think affected the company and its growth
more than others?
I think the decision to keep people in the family as most important part of the
family and give them higher position to handle the company effected the
company in a bad way. It really brought the company's business down to local
business comparing to being regional business company. I think its hard to
keep everyone happy when running a family business and the best thing to do
it to take decision what's best for the company not what makes family happy. I
think I should have carried my first run decisions through out the other two run
and could have Brough the company in much more higher place. My decision
trying to keep family happy effected the business for the worse.
