Feedback loops are very important within a business. They give us
constant information regarding; making observations, corrections,
and taking actions based on the feedback (Get2Growth, n.d.). These
actions come from all aspects of the business both internally and
externally. We would use feedback loops from employees,
customers, suppliers, and any other stakeholder within the
organization. a The feedback loops consist of; the plan, collecting the
data, analyzing the data, collaborating a plan, and always improving
the plan.
The first thing I would try to improve would be the employee
connection within the organization. a By getting the employees
involved with the feedback loop would be a great start for the
Walmart community. Once we get input from employees then we
would tackle customers by using their input. This will increase areas
such as product development, customer experience, marketing, and
self-improvement. a These are all pertinent areas of any business that
wants to maximize its growing potential. Items such as surveys,
online interaction with customers like live chat, online surveys, online
feedback, or other areas of social media. a All interaction via these
outlets will give the customer a way to share their thoughts and
concerns. For example, Live chat can be a good resource for learning
about any issues customers may be experiencing. (Dunne, 2018).
With these ideas, Walmart can take the lead and start the feedback
loop process of solving or creating better ways to serve their
customers.
My idea of communication channels would be to send emails, online
surveys, have a live chat option, social media posts with interaction,
and online feedback forms for customers to give us ideas of places
they like and areas that need improvement. Once we get the data,
then the diverse team would sit and design the plan to make the
improvements. All the information collected from customer feedback
would be collected, understood, and measured further. The feedback
would then be analyzed. Is there something that is happening within
the organization to create the feedback. As a team, collaboration is
the next step to understand how and why the customer feels this
way. Then it’s time to figure out how we help correct or improve the
situation. a There is no end to the cycle, as Walmart will continue to
run the feedback loop in order to stay on top of anything that arises
between any of the steps.
