Kathy decided to go to court and try to have Ralphs will that was
already in place overturned. Kathy states that Ralph stated she would
get the property and other assets. Kathy was trying to argue that
Ralph was not in a sound state of mind at this time. Ralph signed his
will in front of a witness, and with his attorney present. Kathy did not
have enough evidence to support this claim of Ralph not being
mentally stable enough to determine the fate of his estate. The court
made the right decision to overturn Kathy's claim. Kathy had
everything to gain if the court agreed with her claim of Ralph not
being of sound mind. Cora had all of the evidence to prove that
Ralph was in fact in the right mind and Kathy was just trying to
fraudulently claim someone else's estate.
