What makes this planet so special and unique is also the same reason that our world will ever be
able to be politically unified. Every single one of these societies that make up our world is less
complex because of diversity and various cultural beliefs and standards than they are because of
their interdependence. Politics is referred to in the textbook as "relationships and processes of
cooperation, conflict, social control, and power that are fundamental aspects of human life"
(Welsch, 2019). When examining these linkages, it becomes clear that every civilization has a
very different approach to how power is obtained through social factors and how conflict is
settled. Each society's cultural values play a significant role in how our government is organized
and how it is run. Consequently, in order for the world to unite, it is not enough to agree on a
certain political viewpoint; people must also live by and center their entire lives around the
corresponding laws, ethics, convictions, and values. Due to cultural traditions, in certain areas of
the world, a young girl as young as 12 might be married off and be deemed at a sufficient age for
intimacy. This practice is still prevalent in places like Angola. Ijezie and Contributor, 2021) In
the US, this kind of activity would be illegal and considered obscene since, according to our
society, children under the age of 12 are not only socially inappropriate, but also not old enough
to engage in intimate relationships. In contrast to what we know to be a much wider scale
including a broad continuum of varied varying cultures, it is really a tiny variation.
