In terms of a youth ministry aiding the church in being more family friendly is by having
the youth ministry engaged and connected to the actual church and not having a detached youth
ministry. Informing the parents of dates, events, deadlines, and even what the children are
learning before and after the lessons on Sunday or whenever the youth ministry is meeting.
Being more present on social media will also help parents and the youth be more engaged in the
ministry. Many teens do not go home to tell their parents about events or specific details about
the ministry. Lastly, inviting the parents and the children in the youth ministry is also a sure-fire
way to get parents and youth involved. This elicits a comfortability between the ministry, youth,
and parents. While there is more ways to create a more family friendly youth ministry,
progression and communication will drive this motion.
