DISCUSSION THREAD 1
This post will encompass the church and culture history that includes pre-modernism, modernism and post-
modernism in this discussion and will do my best to discern all of these into one. In viewing our Christian
history and heritage as molded our culture into the society we have now, Sadly, God is not the focus of our
culture today amongst our youth as they are being influenced by the world. The educational systems around
the world are obviously indoctrinating our children into believing that being immoral and irresponsibility is
nothing sort of being a satanic plan of self and lacking the love of Jesus.
Premodernism was a time when people actually and really cared about other people and family far beyond
and before themselves and God was very well respected, and God’s word was the pillar of truth and guide to
live life by as being normal. Then people started allowing Satan to introduce lies and deceptions that is know
as Modernism. It is evil who is causing moral and personal responsibility to literally go down the tubes, so to
speak. Satan’s goal is to take away the values of our society and remove God from our minds and by
removing God’s authority and truth and turn it into a total denial of the church and anything with the Bible.
In history we have had several influential people that have spread lies of greed, selfishness, and immorality
by such people as Karl Marx, Sigmund Freud and Darwin and they have all come to plant the seeds of lies
and atheism and now can be seen as influences in the church and everything around us which is now
referred to as “Woke”. Many of the churches have been sucked into believing this totally false mindset. The
churches really need to take a stand for Christ and fight all these evil plans or we will begin to see a rapidly
changing environment by sanding firm with the whole Armor of God as written in Eph. 6:10-18 (ESV). We
must also stand firm on the truth of God and His word with unconditional love!
REPLY 1 - Interesting and well laid out and organized post! We must all also remember that it is not all about
how many followers, likes, comments that we can obtain on social media sites. Our youth have forgotten
how to physically communicate with others because technology allows then to be disconnected with other
people including their own family. Now it has become how many women or men you have slept with or have
taken advantage of based on selfishness and greed. Youth of today do not even know that they need love
and truth and must be taught these values. But first we need to get them to listen and ignore the lies of
Satan so they can know and feel what unconditional love is all about and to accept the truth of God and His
word. Our youth are far too dependent on technology and to get them to listen we need to take it away and
then, hopefully they will realize what the problem really is.
REPLY 2 – Hello David, hope that you and your lived ones are doing well and blessed. So many in this class are
being awakened to how and why our youth are being affected by modernism and post modernism because a
sense of falsehood has become normal that has been put into motion by Satan. This was because man is
weak and wants more “self and all about me” mindset. Sometimes we over analyze everything and we look
past the important issues or the root cause of many problems with hoes that if we ignore it long enough, it
will go away or fix itself. I call out parents all the time and with our society no, many parents are starting to
wake up and smell the roses so to speak as to what our children are being taught and why.
Our youth are mostly all soloist and this leads to being extremely confused with who they are, why they are
here and what is their purpose here on earth because of the false education they are getting. As they are not
being taught properly which is both the parent and the churches responsibility. Parents are allowing the
public schools to teach falsehoods and lies. Most youth have never been taught what is means to be truly
loved and what love is. Most of them think that love is only having sex. Parents need to step up and make a
stand for their children and for Christ!
