“Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world. Yellow, Red, Black and
White, we’re all precious in His sight, Jesus loves the little children of the world.” In this simple,
yet profound song, we witness a beautiful display of the love of our Lord for all of His creation.
We see His expansive, yet inclusive heart for people from every nation and tongue. In Romans
2:11, Paul states, “For God shows no partiality”. He has no favorites. Although, He has a unique
love for His church. His sons and daughters. His Bride.
To ascribe to a biblical worldview, the lens in which you see the world, must be filtered
through God’s authoritative word. We know that “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word
was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1) which is clear indication that not only is God
the author, but he is the embodiment and has complete authority of the written word. As a liberty
student, I can develop a stronger biblical worldview outside of class, by taking time to get to
actually know Jesus. To know Him, is to Love him. I have always believed that you cannot be in
love with someone, that you know nothing about. Love is NOT blind, at least it shouldn’t be. It is
critical for any college student to fix their eyes on Jesus, and study who He actually is. This is
why exegetical teaching, in depth bible studies, hermeneutics, and apologetics research is so
important. Seeking truth for yourself will help to sustain your walk with the Lord, and become
more in love with His person.
Your worldview impacts your life because it will determine how you respond to people,
how you respond to conflict, the way in which you love others (even your enemies) and the
manner in which you forgive. My purpose in life is to fulfill the great commission. That is, to
go and preach the gospel to ALL people (Matthew 28:16-20). This is not only pulling out
scripture, this is appropriating and living- God’s word. My main Goal in life is to be a servant of
3
all. I wish to exemplify the character of Jesus and to reach the level of humility that He did, by
leaving his thrown in glory to become a bondservant, and emptied himself of being equal with
God. While fulfilling this, I will like to become a pastor, and a teacher of Music, or anything
involving music, as I believe this is the greatest form of worship to my Lord. Having the biblical
worldview helps me to attain these things, because If I have a right view of God, I can better
serve him and accomplish the heavenly purpose He has given to me, and his eternal call over my
life can be carried out. My pursuit of education has been driven by my desire to know more, and
honor God with my studies. I long to, “study, and show myself approved” not only before men,
but before the Lord.
Culture is simply defined as the way of life, or groups of people that ascribe to a
particular interest, relatable upbringing, or ethnicity. As believers, we are called to work together
in unity. In 1 Corinthians 12, it says, “For just as the body is one and has many members, and all
the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we
were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves[a] or free—and all were made to drink of
one Spirit.” It then goes on to state, “As it is, there are many parts,[b] yet one body.” We are all a
part of the body of Christ. We each have different roles, functions, personalities, positions,
ethnicities, nations, languages, responsibilities, but only one body. As stated in the great
commission, in romans 1:16 it says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of
God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” We are never
to exclude the “Greek” from this glorious gospel. We are to allow the power of God for
salvation, to propel us into places and nations in which we do not necessarily see ourselves
going.

Though we are all different, we have one very distinguishing fact about us, and that is,
that we are all born sinners (by nature) and have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
But the good news is found in Romans 5:10 which says, “For if while we were enemies we were
reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be
saved by his life!” It is an incredible thought, that even in our disobedient, rebellious and evil
state, God willingly chose to give up His son on OUR BEHALF, to bare the wrath that was
reserved for us. While watching the videos, reading the textbooks, and completing the
assignment, I have come to more Cleary understand, how deep, how wide, and how VAST the
FATHER’S love is for His elect! No matter where you’re from, how you look, the language you
speak, Abba has adopted you to be a part of his chosen people! What a wondrous and UNIQUE
GOSPEL!
