Thesis Statement
Capital punishment in America should be legislatively eliminated owing to the inherent
risk of wrongful convictions, the arbitrary and discriminatory sentencing of marginalized people,
no assurance exists that judicial execution has deterred crime, and most saliently, the deficiency
of biblical injunction for the death penalty.
