Biblical Worldview Essay
In the Gospel, it shows that God is the creator of everything and he is the creator behind
his creation. In today’s Christian understanding, this is how the world was created. People
choose different fields for example like a construction worker because they love making things
out of their hands and how nothing became something. I like carpentry personally because that’s
what Christ did and he made things from nothing into something beautiful, like the world, and
this is why he is the PERFECT Creator. God is his word, has taught us how to interact with his
creation and at times, it is difficult to determine how to do it in a specific way of choice.
Something that has been disputed over a long period of time is the doctrine of creation of
the world. Many try to disprove this with means such as science and man-made ideas. However,
most scientist use the Darwinism approach base off there thought on evolution. But, people are
starting to oppose that view because it lacks proof of the creation and most importantly, truth.
Creation can only make sense if there was in fact a divine source. The text Introducing Christian
Doctrine states that a couple of intelligent design scholars said that Darwinism is inadequate and
contend that they are not arguing for a creator, just pointing out the discrepancies (Erickson,
1992). God creates and sustains all things and Nehemiah 9:6 declares that God has made the
heavens, earth, sea, and all that dwells in them, and he preserves them all. Gods thoughts are
higher than our thoughts and his ways are higher than our ways and the Lord gets all the glory
for it. The Doctrine of Creation says that “the intricate design and delicate balance of creation is
so complex that humans will never fully comprehend it—only the Creator himself can do so
(2010).” Creation is the Foundation states that creation is not just a religious doctrine, but “it is
the basis of all true science, of true Americanism, and of true Christianity (Morris, 1983).” God
is our rock and needs to be implemented in our lives every day. We as mer humans would not
have any knowledge if it wasn’t for Gods wisdom in our lives.

In addition, God is holding out his hand, waiting for his children to come running to him
in truth and in repentance just as he was in the lives of Adam, Moses and others. God’s
involvement in our lives is understood by us through our knowledge of him and our knowledge
of creation: “God’s plan involves and utilizes the best of human skill and knowledge in the
genetic refinement of the creation. Such endeavors are our partnership with God in the ongoing
work of creation.” (Erickson, 142). Gods involvement in your life is all you need, even more
than our own family. With God be in control of all things and knowing the future with his divine
foreknowledge, God even supersedes those who are the MOST influential in your life. Since God
ordains everything, He is not just in control of your future but also of our past. He is not only in
control, but he is also forming and directing matters according to his character, which is good
and gracious (Erickson, 153). The most important blessing God the Father bestowed upon us in
his creation was the life of his son Jesus Christ. God sent his son to live among us sinless and die
on the cross for us for his children’s sins, displaying His perfect for his creation. We all know His
creation is clearly seen, being understood by things that are made, which Romans 1:20 verifies
this. The article titled, Design Found in Nature Inspire Innovation, states “The design features
that God programmed into natural systems enable their possessors to overcome the limitations
imposed on them by the very laws of nature…” (Tomkins, 2016). Hebrews 11:3 states that by
faith we can understand that the universe was created by God’s word.
We know by the Bible that everyone has a divine purpose, whether it is for the bad or the
good, However, that decision is from the Lord and him only. Proverbs 16:9 says that a man plans
ways, but the Lord establishes his steps. Erickson says that “God’s providence does not extend
merely to his own people. While there is a special concern for the believer, God does not
withhold his goodness entirely from the rest of humankind.” (Erickson, 152). This is also

identified by Jesus in Matthew 5:45: “He causes the sun to rise on the evil and the good, so when
God almighty created everything, he predestined/elected/ordained everything as well. When you
are a child of God and part of his kingdom, he listens to your prayers and hears your cries. The
Lord will always develop our lives according to his will and purpose to carry out his divine plan
and works in us to make us redeemed and sanctified before Him. In conclusion, knowing the
love of Christ and his beauty and perfection, we have clarification of his callings and will for us
all and when we fall, He will pick us back up when we are in need. Jesus Christ is all that we
need in this life. And when I say that’s it, I mean it. Jesus Christ is supposed to be number 1 in
our life and everything else after. That goes for our wife’s and husbands, sons or daughters,
family and friends. We must always remember that God has a plan for our lives and we as
Christians need to fulfill those requirements, PERIOD. We must deny ourselves daily and carry
our cross. WHOS WITH ME! Amen!
