Final Essay
A foundational belief for all Christians is how we serve a God that loves His children
unconditionally and has been approachable and involved in our lives and His creation.
Throughout this essay I will approach the theology of creation, explain how God is actively
involved throughout it all, and how His doctrine will impact whatever career path I chose
to follow after college.
In Genesis 1:1 we see the verse that tells us, “God created the Heavens and the Earth.”
This shows the believers that God is the creator of all things. God is proud of everything that He
has created and wants these creations to be a follower of Him and to multiply the Earth. Psalms
104:31 are one of my favorite verses, “May the Lord rejoice in His works” because I like to
remind myself that He takes in pride in what He creates, and He created me and every one else
with so much love. This verse is a good reminder of how God rejoices in all His creation. In
Ephesians 2:10 we see that man was created in the image of God for a purpose, “for good works,
which God prepared ahead of time, so that we should walk in them.” God has always been
involved in His creations and in our lives.
I find it amazing to know that the God I serve is real, and approachable at any time of the
day for countless reasons that I may need him. There is an overwhelming sense of comfort that
over comes me once I am finished praying or complete a devotional. My God is always there for
love, support and comfort. He is always involved in our lives and He longs for a personal
relationship with us. Throughout the Bible we see many people that God had relationships with
and who He spoke to and encouraged daily. Amos 4:13 shows us that God reveals His thoughts
to man, this is just another verse to show us that God is involved in our lives when we allow
Him to be. In the last few days that Jesus was on earth, He told His disciples that He would be
leaving and another counselor would replace Him. (John 14:26) He told them that the Holy
Spirit would remain with the believer forever once you have faith to ask Him into your heart.
(John 14:17) The Holy Spirit lives in you and helps to guide you to the Lord daily.
Once I graduate from Liberty University I will have a degree in Strategic
Communications. It is a broad degree that includes several career options, however, I have not
decided fully on which I would like to pursue. My dream job is to be on Fox News, CNN, or
ESPN; I have always wanted to be a News Reporter. With this career I would potentially be
given several opportunities to share my beliefs on National television. Having a strong Biblical
foundation going into a career as such is crucial. As a believer, I am called to witness and share
my beliefs with the lost people of this world, and I strongly believe that God can use me and
speak through me daily in my career.
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have ever lasting life.” When God came to this
earth as a man, He was in human form just like us, only difference was He was born of a virgin
and was a perfect man. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and He paid the ultimate price so that
we would not have to. This is only one example, but proves to us again how much God’s love is
unconditional. As I venture into the rest of my life I am called to love those who do not love me
back, and to pray for those that do not know Christ as their savior. 1 Timothy 1:5, “The aim of
our charge is love from a pure heart, and good conscience and a sincere faith.”
In conclusion, God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th. He created every
living thing with love and He created His children to be followers of Him and to share His word
with every opportunity given. Our God is a personal God, which is approachable and is always
there to listen when we need someone. He gives us guidance and strength in times of need.
