WORLDVIEW ESSAY 2
Introduction
For many years mankind was told that we were all created in God’s Image, but what does that
mean to me and how can or will I apply it in my world. Since I was a child all I heard was you’re
a Christian at like one, or Christians do not act like that. And my belief is Christians come in
many forms not one Christian is alike we are all unique just like God made us. So God created
man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
(Genesis 1:27 KJV)
WORLDVIEW ESSAY 3
Foundational to the Christian faith is the belief that mankind is created in the image of God
Example1:
My goal is to become an elementary school teacher, teaching at a Christian school. I
don’t think there’s nothing more gratifying then to be able to teach the word of God while
teaching regular studies. I will use my Christian beliefs that mankind is created in the image of
God to tech my students what it means to be a Christian and how to live as a Christian. One
thing that I will stress to my students that it’s not hard to live by the Christian way but it’s all on
how they see it. I will never try to force my students into believing anything they do not want to
believe in but I will guide them in the right direction. I will instruct you and teach you in the way
you should go; I will guide you with my eye. (Psalm 32:8) I will let them know without God we
are nothing and have nothing. God makes everything possible it was him whom seen me go back
to school before I seen it. In all your ways acknowledge Him and HE will direct your paths.
(Prov 3:6)
Example2:
I told you how I will apply it but now let me explain how it started. Good or bad God has
planned everyday of our lives and this is said in the Bible in a few places. #1 A man’s heart
plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. (Proverbs 16:9) #2 The steps of a good man are
ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23) and #3 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says
the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11)
God had everything planned for us trials and tribulation no matter what happens in life he
wanted it to happen because of him we are the people we are and the people we will become. He
is our

teacher and we must learn from him. Each of us has a reason on earth and his reasons for each of
us are different and it’s up to us to see his purpose and make sense of it.
Example3:
There are different kinds of Christians. It’s up to the individual to decide which kind they
want to be but let’s teach them to be complete Christians. For we are his workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. To
me just because you don’t portray God’s image or don’t portray what others think God’s Image is
does not make you any less than a Christian and does not mean you were not create in the image
of God.
Conclusion:
I am a Christian so I do believe that we were created in Gods own image, and to me that
means that we were also created to be unique, Not one man is the same. Personally from looking
at me from the outside you would not think I was a Christian but I am. Living by God’s image
you must live your life a certain way from what we are told. I can say not everything I do might
not be perfect but I try and no matter what I still believe in our savior Jesus Christ.
