Good Morning,
Three concepts that has really helped clarify my knowledge of
the bible is reading out of the KJV, which is the only bible I
really trust. I also have a bible translator app on my phone to
help me understand bible verses a lot better. I grew up around
family where church was on Wednesdays and Sundays. Having
a family who speaks about the bible and a preacher you could
go to everyday to ask questions, was always a plus. (If you guys
have ever heard James Easter, of the Easter Brothers, his
preaching was always my favorite) I could ask him anything. He
unfortunately passed away recently. Having a family who gets
together for Bible study is always a plus because everyone
comes together and talks about the Bible topic of the day. I also
read the words slowly, to help me better understand fully and
use my translator app when I am having a hard time
understanding.
Different Biblical genres are used to inform the interpretation
of bible scriptures or passages. When I read different genres of
the Bible and compare them, I look for the reveal of Jesus,
his appearance. I also focus on the setting of the story. Paying
close attention to details really help me understand the text.

crucial because you don't want to be misled. We don't want to
stray away and believe something that is not true. It is also
crucial that we understand what the author is trying to tell us.
Having a Bible study can pull everyone together to discuss the
different genres and what they mean. Jesus Promises " Heaven
and Earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass
away" (Matthew 24:25)
A: Learning Log
Squares: The Lord our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, "Ye
have dwelt long enough in this Mount, Turn you and take your
Journey". (Deuteronomy 1:6
God is telling us that it is our time to move on. We as humans
sometimes want to settle down in a temporal place and try to
make it a permanent dwelling place.
Triangles: Then ye answered and said unto me, "We have
sinned against the Lord, we will go up and fight, according to all
that the Lord our God commanded us. And when ye had girded
on every man his weapons of war, ye were ready to go up into
the hill".

The meaning of: "We sinned against the Lord" tells us that we
disobeyed Gods commands.
Circles: And Moses Commanded the children of Israel according
to the word of the Lord, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph,
hath said well.
Hearts: The uniqueness of God, the need for drastic
centralization of worship, and a concern for the position of the
poor and disadvantaged.
