Abstract
How could you not think of paradise when you think of Nassau, Bahamas! One more
college bowl game in Nassau! With proper planning, strategy, and implementing, the Paradise
Bowl is coming this December at the Thomas Robinson stadium in Nassau, Bahamas. Not only
will you get to experience this college bowl game, but you’ll have the opportunity to explore the
nearby activities and entertainment, and engage in a schedule leading up to the game with fun
events planned for both the teams and fans.

The Paradise Bowl
The Paradise Bowl will take place at the Thomas Robinson stadium in Nassau, Bahamas.
This stadium is named after Thomas Augutus Robinson who performed in the Olympics
representing the Bahamas. Thomas A. Robinson won his first medal in 1956 as an Olympic
sprinter. This facility opened in 2011 and has many key features and amenities for both the
players and the fans. There are 326 VIP seats, gates and ramps for the handicap, multiple locker
rooms, a weight room, open air stadium suites for rental, sufficient parking, and much more at
this facility (Thomas A. Robinson Stadium, n.d.). According to Thomas A. Robinson Stadium
(n.d.), this 190,452-square-foot multi-purpose stadium has a capacity of 15,000 seats with
expandable seating up to 30,000. This is a $30 million state-of-art facility!
Nassau is the capital and the largest city in the Bahamas, with an overall population of
412,623 (Bahamas Population 1950-2023, n.d.). Nassau, Bahamas has many hotels surrounding
the Thomas Robinson stadium, some being all inclusive resorts. According to Tourism Today,
since 2020 there were over 300,000 rooms in this area with only a 40% occupancy rate (HOTEL
PERFORMANCE -the ISLANDS of the BAHAMAS JANUARY 2022 PRELIMINARY, n.d.). On
Booking.com, you can find over a hundred of beautiful properties in Nassau for affordable
prices. Despite the Bahamas having a different currency from United States Dollars (USD) called
the Bahamian Dollar (BSD), USD is accepted there and interchangeable in value with the BSD.
In the capital of the Bahamas, of course there are lots of activities and entertainment
whether you are traveling solo, with friends, or with family! The weather at this location usually
stays between the 80s and 90s making outdoor life fun. Anywhere from visiting beautiful
landmarks, to diving with the sharks is available here. Nassau, Bahamas is a very popular tourist

spot. There are many beaches, museums, entertainment, and Cathedrals to visit, such as the
Dolphin Cay, the Pirates of Nassau museum, the Bahamar casino, and the St. Francis Xavier
Cathedral.
There are many beautiful beaches in Nassau with various activities to do. At Rose Island,
expect to see pink sand and crystal-clear water. According to (Blakeney, 2022), “the best way to
get there and see the island is to book a half-day cruise from Nassau. Transport to and from the
island by boat, snorkeling equipment, lunch and even a chance to sunbathe on a private beach are
all included!” Pig beach in Big Major Cay is populated with swimming pigs, where you can
encounter them. According to (Blakeney, 2022), “heading to Blue Lagoon Island is definitely
one of the most important things to do while in Nassau.” This spot is sometimes referred to as
one of the top tourist destinations. For those interested in dolphin encounters, a dolphin tour is
provided at the Blue Lagoon Island, as well as the Dolphin Cay.
For those more intrigued by history and art, Nassau has numerous museums and stores.
At Prince George Wharf, you can find a substantial collection of boutiques. A popular, budget
friendly museum is the National Art Gallery in Nassau where you can engage with the Bahamian
culture and art. The Pompey Museum of Slavery and Emancipation showcases the story of the
Bahamian’s history of slavery. The Pirates of Nassau museum is a self-guided tour learning more
about the pirate history with artifacts and wax exhibitions (Blakeney, 2022).
There are plenty of entertainment options in Nassau, Bahamas. At Parliament Square,
debates take place that are open for the public to watch. Learning more about the debate of the
land could be a key piece of enjoyment for some. The Junkanoo festival occurs December 26
through January 1st. This carnival is an accurate exhibit of Bahamian culture with Junkanoo
beach not being too far away (Blakeney, 2022). The Bahamar casino offers a casino where you

can still enjoy the beach, sand, and sunsets. There are also boat tours, quad bike tours, and the
aquaventure waterpark.
Just as we have churches, in the Bahamas there are Cathedrals, which are usually larger
than churches and run by a bishop. These beautiful landmarks could attract those religious and
non-religious. The doors are open at the Christ Church Cathedral where services, quiet time, and
choir performances take place. The St. Francis Xavier Cathedral was built in the late 1800s and
known for being the oldest Roman Catholic church in the Bahamas (Blakeney, 2022). There are
various activities to choose from during this stay. There is not a doubt that you won’t have
unlimited fun inside and outside of watching the Paradise Bowl in Nassau, Bahamas!
This Paradise Bowl will take place on Friday, December 30 at 6:00pm. The Peach Bowl,
Music City Bowl, Orange Bowl, and Arizona Bowl are all scheduled for December 30, with the
Paradise Bowl now following (2023-24 College Football Bowl Game Schedule, Scores, TV
Channels, Times | NCAA.com, n.d.). This bowl will be aired on ABC. Leading up to the Paradise
Bowl are differing events for both the teams and the fans. The teams have set practice and
workouts times, as well as times for fan engagement. Fan engagement this year consists of fan
signing and meet and greet.The team alone will have a catered dinner the night before the game.
December 30th is game day! For the fans, tailgating will begin four hours before the game. This
will have both kid- and adult-friendly activities, vendors, foods, and beverages. Once you arrive
at the bowl, expect to see four fan zones throughout the stadium, kid-friendly areas, concessions,

For the Paradise Bowl, there will be various levels of ticketing, including standard admission,
VIP seating, and bundles. Ticket prices range anywhere from $120.00 to $1,250. The standard
seating admission will just offer seats during the game. For those looking more into premium
seating, there are VIP seating ticket options where you can watch the game at Centre Field in the
Western Grandstand of the Thomas Robinson stadium. With every VIP seating ticket, there will
also be access to the exclusive VIP meet and greet before kickoff begins on Saturday, December
30th, differing from the general meet and greet. The ticket bundles will include a choice of
standard or VIP seating and options for different concession items or meals during the game.
The Paradise Bowl has naming rights provided through the Nassau Paradise Island
company. Nassau Paradise Island is a company working to provide tourists and travelers with the

with us, as much as we will from them. The standard package is $3,000 valued at $5,000. The

After lots of thought, planning, and strategizing, I came up with the Paradise Bowl in
Nassau, Bahamas based on this outstanding site location, activities. and entertainment and
choose a date and time based on the upcoming season. This game is separate from the Bahamas
Bowl game, providing time to clean up and set up for the Paradise Bowl. There were many
