Biblical Theology Plan

Theology, a term a combination of theos (God) and logos (study, discourse), means “the study of
God,” His nature and attributes. A. H. Strong extends this definition to include “the whole range
of Christian doctrine … of those relations between God and the universe in view of which we
speak of Creation, Providence, and Redemption.”1
Introduction
As ministries of the gospel, it is our responsibility to help fulfill the great commission of
Jesus Christ found in Matthew 28:16-20. In this process, it is essential to consider both the
natural and spiritual ecology and spiritual formation. The spiritual ecology of the body of Christ
partakes in the connections and interactions necessary for spiritual growth and influence
(spiritual contagion).
Using the ecology will provide a simplistic approach that Jesus used to expand the believer's
spiritual growth. One plants, one water, and God gives the increase, 1 Cor 3:6-8. To develop an
effective Biblical Theology Plan, it must start with the understanding of theological terms as they
are applied to the ministry contexts. In my plan, I will name, explain, and my ministry event
from each of the following terms. The terms are as follows Biblical Theology, Systemic
Theology, Trinity, Hamartiology, Metaphysics, and Hermeneutics. Each of these terms and others
will continue to develop during my ministry. For now, I will focus on these six.
Theological Terms
When looking at my terms I have chosen, I feel these are important in my ministry
because my ministry has been dealing with adolescents and also young men. Hermeneutics, as

minister and teacher of God’s word, should also apply the proper interpretation of the
scriptures using exegesis to all I teach. Teaching knowing the art and science will provide those
whom I teach a foundation that will last throughout their walk. Biblical theology should always
be considered in every believer’s walk. Understanding every scripture from the author's
position is essential to establish the foundation of its meaning without placing present times
ways to remove the historical foundation. In keeping with biblical theology protects from
staying away from the origin of Bible teachings. Metaphysics is the as Dr. David Cho, the senior
Pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church in South Korea, puts it the fourth Dimension. In his book,
“Fourth Dimensional Living in a three-Dimensional World,” mankind is the only creature that
can operate in both the spiritual and natural realm.2 We are a spiritual being in a physical body.
Colossians 1:16, “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth,
visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: he
created all things, and for him.” (KJV). To have the body of Christ to learn and understand how
we can operate in this area is essential in the successful living of the Christian life. As a
believer, this is one of the if not the powerful weapon to live by. Teaching Hamartiology show
the ultimate cause and effect of a bad decision that by Adam that continues until the final day
of judgment. Lowe states, “Human sin infected the connective harmony that permeated the
pristine ecology God created.”3 The nature of sin caused by Adam eating of the fruit is with
man throughout everyone's lifetime. To be able to teach how it came into being, how it affected
every ecology area, and the process of overcoming sin and the continued battle to maintain
victories living will be found in every message that is taught. When I think about the
Christocentric foundational of the Christian faith,

the Trinity comes to mind. As a minister, the Bible is all about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and
these three are one.”, 1John 5:7 (KJV). The understanding of the trinity for the believer, each of
their purpose from the beginning, and what they mean to the believer today. The role of each of
Trinity in the believer’s life. Teaching believer’s how to communicate Trinity, as you can notice
that I have been establishing a Systematic Theology with my terms. When going forward in my
plan, it will require a system to help the people. I am teaching to have a flow-through naturally.
Understanding that people are at different levels, I must be able to maintain from the babies to
the elders and everything in between. Systems are the key to this.
Spiritual formation
Ecologies, theology, and spiritual formation word together in forming the whole man.
The spiritual formation of a person is not only the development of academically but a
combination of much more. “It’s not just the academy that has a spiritually formative influence
on students; social contexts like conversations, interaction with others, worshiping together,
and
living out real life with community members play just as great a part in students’ spiritual
formation.”4 One of the strongest ways is in fellowship with other believers at the places of
worship. Theology is both science and philosophy. It is science in that it discovers the facts and
relations that exist between God and the finite universe, that in turn, are based on God's
works
and activities.5 As humans, we have been created into a series of ecologies systems designed
to
bring us one of our Creator. Through these teaching and life application, a student can become
what God has created them to become.

Bibliography
In closing, applying the terms, the series of ecologies systems, the proper theology, and
the spiritual formation are tools those tools for the development of an effective Biblical Theology
Plan. As the students mature in biblical understanding with life application will result in the
development of the whole man.
