I believe that a teacher must act as a proper guide who can offer the necessary tools and
resources to have an enriching learning experience. My teaching philosophy revolves around
identifying the diverse learning needs of students so that they will be encouraged to learn and
broaden their knowledge horizons. There exist different kinds of learners. While some may
learn without facing any kinds of difficulties or challenges, others might be struggling.
Teachers can offer comprehensive support to all kinds of learners by adopting a flexible
teaching approach. I would like to be a flexible teacher who can accommodate the learning
needs of diverse learners. In order to do so, I believe it is extremely important to focus on
creating an engaging learning environment. For instance, I would create an amicable ambiance
where learners will be encouraged to raise their voices or concerns and ask doubts without any
kind of hesitation or intimidation.
Teaching is of paramount importance since it acts as one of the fundamental steps that
enable an individual to learn and attain education. Children need to be taught in diverse areas
such as Mathematics, English, Science, etc., so that they can have a holistic learning
experience. Without proper teaching, students can feel clueless, and it might impact how they
perceive their life and what they want to do as they grow up. Different subjects add value to
the lives of students. For instance, the History subject helps learners to know about the events
that have taken place before they were born. Similarly, the Science subject exposes them to
endless possibilities and helps them to understand the scientific meaning behind life. Teachers
pave the way for students to cultivate an interest in learning new things. In case a student is not
interested in the concept of teaching or learning, he or she is less likely to pursue a higher
education degree, and the prospects of his career might diminish in the future. However, a
teacher can come to the rescue and show the right path to students so that they will be

interested in learning. The teaching style that is adopted by a teacher is highly critical to
encouraging students to learn and expand their knowledge.
When I was a student, I had a teacher who was extremely encouraging and inspiring. Her
teaching methods were effective because I was encouraged to learn. She made sure that she
taught us new things in a simple and comprehensible manner so that we did not face challenges
in understanding what was being taught in the class. Even if we were having doubts, she was
extremely patient, and she made sure that the learning needs of all the students were met in an
effective manner. Choosing the right kind of teaching method is vital for a teacher since it can
have a direct and significant implication for the learners (Bernstein et al., 2019). The teacher
made sure to adopt the teaching methods that facilitated engagement in the classroom and
encouraged student participation.
I personally believe that one of the most effective ways of etching is ‘active learning.’ It
is useful since it encourages learners to engage in the learning process through discussion and
investigation. It pushes them to think in a curious manner and think about complex problems. I
would make use of this method so that the learning experience of learners would not only be
restricted to assignments, projects, and quizzes. Instead, they would be encouraged to learn at
an integrated level. Additionally, I believe students must be given the opportunity to ask
questions without feeling apprehensive. I would try to be friendly with the students so that they
could easily reach out to me to get their doubts clarified. b b
