When you look at trauma, one can not help but have empathy and
sympathy. This emotion is a key performance indicator when it comes to
understanding how real life situations affect individuals. This is where
science plays a part with medicine and psychology. It is the medical
science that can truly impact individuals to play a corrective part in
healing and survival. But the more that you look at what survival means, it
really comes down to the mental mindset of human beings. What keeps
an individual the strength and longevity to keep going to stay strong and
fight though the battle. Many people will argue that it is faith and the God
that gives them the abilities to survive. A Christian Biblical worldview is
what truly puts those that are deserving the ability to fight the power and
work past the ailments. Wolters, (2005) states that a worldview is about
human beliefs and strong will to overcome negativity. He states that the
creation will give people the strength that they need to overcome trauma
and positivity and prayer is what will propel individuals to a place of hope
and comfort.
Johnson, (2010) talks about God’s true word is about identifying where
people’s place is based on their deserving nature in life. Spiritual
formation into the image of God where conformity to Christ was to find the
greatest fulfillment. Christian resources promote healing and
development. A true Christian worldview allows for individuals to believe
give true faith to overcome trauma. Once an individual is in a place where
they no longer have control, science can only take you so far but God can
take you forever to place where you always have hope and prosperity.
