The manner that you expounded on the two approaches to forgiveness
from Worthington (2019) and McMinn (2015) was thought provoking. I had
initially forgotten the mentioning of forgiveness as an analogy of being
one piece to a puzzle. However, that is exactly what came to mind when I
was searching the bible for clarity. Worthington (2019) addressed the
Bible’s lack of direction related to forgiveness within his five steps of the
Levels of explanation, based on the perceived injustice gap. McMinn
(2015) addressed that Bible virtues are the direction to use to Integrate
Positive Psychology and the Christian Church.
These opposing stances (on opposite sides of the board) both concluded
from empirical evidence that forgiveness (virtue) is necessary for
achieving wholeness related to increased physical and mental health. This
comparison seems similar to the steps in board games or puzzles in which
all the pieces have to be put together in order to give clarity to the whole

be used to compare individual forgiveness as being one piece to the
