Wolters mentions this too, that because something is tainted does not mean we
must throw the whole thing away (2005). We must keep the parts the work, keep
what is good, and work to reform the rest (Wolters, 2005). This reminds me of
the saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". For example, in the book it mentions that
adultery does not diminish the good of human sexuality (Wolters, 2005). We
should work to sanctify it, get rid of the sin and keep the good. I like how you
mentioned that under God we are all equal, and should work to help one another
where we are lacking. I mentioned this too, as everyone has gifts of some sort
and something to contribute to the greater good. The more people we can get on
the "good team" the more powerful we become as a whole. In fact it has a
synergistic effect to where the collective power is more than that of each
individual added together. What is one way that you think we should help those
who are homeless? How do you think we can help combat the temptation to
return to things like drugs?
