The division examined was personality and social psychology. This
division explains human behavior and encapsulates the formulation of
one's experiences. My interest delved into exploring the logistics of
personality and how it is derived from experiences that produce
neurological responses of thoughts and emotions that can be recognized
physically, e.g., stress, depression (high blood pressure, and weight loss).
According to "Aristotle (Vorländer, 1977), the intellect involves higher
cognitive functions (anima rationalis), while the lower parts of the mind or
psyche regulate physique, nutrition and growth (anima vegetativa) and
motility, perception, emotions, and instincts (anima sensistiva). Only
humans possess the highest level of the mind,
the)noetikonor)logistikon(anima rationalis), and are capable of thinking
and reasoning. The most important functions of the)anima rationalisare
skills (techné), knowledge (episteme), practical rational thinking
(phronesis), and philosophical reasoning or wisdom (sophia). The rules of
the rational mind are universal and the highest levels of reasoning and
thinking are the same for every person. Yet, the personality and character
differences between the people encompass also the functioning of the
lower parts of the psyche, the emotions, motivation (desires), and physical
functions." (J. Musek, 2017).
As mentioned in Hartsfield, “Several authors proposed that psychology
should concern itself with explaining and predicting human ‘conduct’, or
the ‘behavior’ of organisms more generally. Some early proponents of this
attitude, such as William McDougall (1905, 1912), then at Oxford prior to
moving to Harvard and then Duke, and Walter Pillsbury (1911) at
Michigan, suggested that behavior should be explained using the
mentalistic vocabulary of traditional psychology, and that introspection
was among the methods to be used in discovering mentalistic explanatory
facts.”)(Hartford, 2002). When discussing relevance in ensuring research
integrity is essential to consider environmental circumstances that differ
per individual experience. It is the reason to explore different groups of
personalities and behaviors and their contribution to social psychology.
The current trending research explores the inequality of online learning
through socio-economic challenges.) APA (2017) explains, “Research
indicates that children from low-SES households and communities develop
academic skills slower than children from higher SES groups.”) (APA,
2017).) Overall, this trend affects populations affected by other obstacles
that conflict with making education a priority, but food, safety, and love
deficiencies.) Based on the hierarchy of needs, these are important for
developmental growth through stages.
