I do not agree with the statement that psychology is just sinful human
beings sinfully thinking about sinful human beings. Sin is a part of our lives
because we are humans. Sometimes the Bible hurts us with the truth by
giving us many explanations and examples of sin. The Bible also helps us
learn from the truth how we can be saved from sin and death through
Christ Jesus. (Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world
through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men
because all sinned. Every day human beings struggle with sin, and the only
exclusion is Jesus Christ. Entwistle (2015) expresses objection to the
integration of psychology and Christianity and argues that some people think
that psychology and Christianity are comparable. Sin can have a profound
serious effect on a person’s life. This deceitful constituent can deceive a
person into thinking that sinful attitudes and behaviors are under control, but
they are not. (2 Corinthians 11:14) But I am not surprised even Satan
disguises himself as an angel of light. The Bible is God's word for the care
of the soul. I see sin as the worst problem and the work of Christ as the
cure of sin. (Galatians 5:19-21) United by a mutual love of Christ and
rejecting divisiveness as a work of the flesh. It is important to seek to be
peacemakers. In the beginning, there was no sin separating Adam and Eve
from God, they had the perfect relationship. Although the sin of man brought
a disastrous end to the wonderful relationship. God kindly promised us
eternal life in Heaven, to everyone who, in faith through obedience, accept
Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of their life (1 John 5:11-13). Ken Sande
(2004) wrote The Peace Make. A book a biblical guide to resolving personal
conflict. He expresses that peacemakers draw on the goodness and power
of Jesus Christ.
