Summarization of Belcher’s Approach to the Psalms
The approach employed by Richard P. Belcher is that of a Christocentric or Christological
relationship within the Psalms. The basic thesis of this book is that all the psalms have a

relationship to the person and/or work of Christ, not just the traditional Messianic psalms.
Belchers thesis for the work is in alignment with the teaching of Jesus found in Luke 24:27 that
