used as they are meant we know that the patients will benefit due to the betterment of the
healthcare. When technology meets value-based care we also see our providers know the parameters
that government-based reimbursement expects from their care. These providers also will see the
advantage to using technology in how reimbursements are distributed. Healthcare reimbursement is
the process by which a provider delivers treatment to a patient and then bills a private insurance
company or government agency such as Medicare or Medicaid. The amount billed and then paid is
normally an amount that the provider and the payor have agreed upon.

informatics, it is important to acknowledge the significance of Jesus as the ultimate representation of

With the use of technology, how claims are completed, and reimbursements distributed have
accelerated and improved. Technology has shown improvement with healthcare systems as they
have an advantage through government-based programs such as the Meaningful Use, Manage Care,
or ACO Contracts (Nelson & Staggers, 2018). In the end, we know this type of reimbursement
incentives have become the norm and is here to stay. I can only imagine it will continue to improve
