Analysis
The Giles County’s passing rates are greater in the 3rd and 4th grade levels that those
levels at Madison County. However, in the 4th grade level, Madison County’s passing rates are
higher than Giles County. Madison County should take the opportunity and see what teaching
strategies and activities that Giles County uses to increase the schools’ passing rates. A con of
Giles County is that the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade level decrease from 2021 to 2022 school year.
Fortunately, both counties, have decently high passing rates, but teachers should always strive
to make their class the best that they can be. Both counties should come together to share their
information with each other. If both schools get the opportunity to evaluate the different
practices throughout the year, they will have the ability to see what activities were used in a
year when the passing rates were high, versus the activities used during a low passing rate year.
