I. Introduction
Greetings and Salutations! Welcome to part 3 of this series! During the first two weeks, we
shed light on the importance of Mothers. The last two weeks are dedicated to the fathers of
the world. Too often, fathers' impact on their child’s life goes unnoticed. Fathers hold an
essential role in the family. Fathers take on the responsibility of providing and protecting the
family. On Father’s Day, Mothers and children should come up with some good ideas of
things that should take place on Father's Day, which may enhance your day.5 The passage we
will refer to in this sermon is Psalms 103:13. Please open up your Bibles, and let us begin!

VI. Conclusion
Day in and Day out, fathers make huge sacrifices for their families. As a father, over 50% of
the things I do is for my family. If I did not have a family, I would probably live under a rock
with my PlayStation 5 and be content. Like many fathers, I have become more motivated by
the family to pursue more.
Title: "Celebrate the Influence of Fathers"
Objective: To bring awareness of how fathers shaped the world.

I. Introduction
Let's give a warm welcome to all of the fathers in the house! Welcome to the last week of the
series. Throughout the month, we have expressed how valuable mothers and fathers are to
our society. Society sometimes tends to pin one versus the other, but I want you all to know
that both are equally valuable. I know plenty of people that had one parent and not the other.
Having only one parent presents a void that the child may spend a lifetime trying to fill.
I have provided biblical scriptures to show you how essential mothers and fathers are to us.
Even though the Bible is relevant, its inherent relevancy doesn’t guarantee that everyone
understands it’s relevant.6 Let's take the time to dive into the Bible to gain a deeper
understanding of the role of mothers and fathers.
II. Fathers: An Integral Part of God's Plan
A. Exploring the biblical foundation of fatherhood and its significance
B. Understanding God's design in creating fathers as leaders and providers for their families
C. Reflecting on the role of fathers in shaping the lives of their children
III. The Impact of Fathers on Children
A. Discussing the profound influence fathers have on the emotional and psychological well-
being of their children
B. Sharing studies or research on the positive outcomes of involved fathers in children's lives
C. Emphasizing the importance of active fatherhood in nurturing healthy family dynamics
IV. The Father's Love: A Reflection of God's Love
A. Drawing parallels between a father's love and God's love as our Heavenly Father
6 Jerry Vines and Jim Shaddix, Power in the Pulpit: How to Prepare and Deliver Expository Sermons, (Moody
Publisher, 2017), 223.
9
B. Understanding how a father's love can shape a child's perception of God's love
C. Encouraging fathers to be compassionate, forgiving, and affectionate with their children
V. Honoring Fathers' Sacrifices
A. Acknowledging the sacrifices that fathers make for the well-being of their families
B. Sharing personal stories or testimonies of selfless acts performed by fathers
C. Expressing gratitude and appreciation for the dedication of fathers
VI. Conclusion
Once again, we must recognize the importance of Father's Day and the value of fathers.
Fathers, at times, are overlooked. Being overlooked leads to further destruction. Fathers need
just as much love as women and children receive daily. I will conclude this sermon with a
prayer for all fathers seeking God's blessings and strength. I encourage you to appreciate and
honor fathers not just on this day but throughout the year.
