To whom it may concern, These are the instruction to two essays that are due in about
four weeks and the other in seven to eight. i have Thesis statements that are due around
the third week. Sense we just started, I would like to get ahead of the game.
I will be leaving country around those dates when they are due. Can you help me? I've up
loaded the information sheets for the Essays, and Thesis Statements. I was wondering
which one would be good, or what can I do about this? Thank you for helping me get

Evaluave Essay Instrucons
Purpose
o To evaluate an historical theme using assigned sources for support.
o To compose a properly formaed, scholarly paper, using the most recent edition of
Turabian, Notes-Bibliography.
General Direcons:
For this assignment, students will choose 1 historical theme from the list below research to
throughout the course:
Religion/Philosophy
Literature
Law
Science/Medicine/Technology
Economy/Labor
Students will write 2 analycal essays on the chosen theme using the primary sources and ir ,
topic prompts within the addional documents.
In Week 3, students will submit a thesis statement for Evaluave Essay 1 to the instructor for
review. This pre-submission of the thesis statement will not be required for Evaluave Essay 2.
Specic Requirements:
The evaluave essay will consider assigned sources on the chosen theme, and evaluate those
sources using the topic prompt provided in the addional documents for this assignment.
Format, Length and Organizaon:
o Length: 750-1100 words (roughly 3-4 pages, double spaced not counng footnotes) –
o Double spaced text, Times New Roman, size 12 font, standard margins and indentaon
(see Turabian: Notes-Bibliography)
o The paper should have a tle page, body, and bibliography page
o Using Turabian Notes-Bibliography style, format footnotes for the paper.
o Basic Organizaon (except literature topic, given in literature document): The paper
will consist of an introducon, body and conclusion:
o Introducon should be one paragraph and should introduce the main argument,
ending with a strong thesis statement. The thesis statement is the ONE
SENTENCE argument.
o Body of the paper is a few paragraphs (3-4) developing and supporng the
argument, showing comparison and contrast of the assigned documents, as well
as further analysis and Biblical evaluaon. The body of the paper should provide
specic examples and details from the assigned sources.
o Conclusion is the final paragraph, restating the argument and summarizing the
main points of the paper, drawing conclusions for the reader. No new
informaon.
Sources:
o The textbook and lectures can be used for basic background informaon, but the
majority of supporng details should be drawn from the assigned sources within each
topic document.
o For Biblical analysis, you can use your own Bible, or one of the following websites for
nding and using Scripture verses. Please note that you need to use a standard
translaon (such as KJV or ESV) and not a paraphrase Bible (such as the Message).
