Attacks on our Faith
Introduction
While our country was rooted in Christianity and its roots we have taken a great turn
from our original upbringing. As time has gone on our country as a whole and strayed farther and
farther away from the Lord. It has gone so far that our right for are Christian freedom has been
under attack recently. Some of the things that have been attacked the heaviest or the values of
marriage, protecting the unborn and the fact that if you are a man born you are a man. As
believers it is very important for us to take a look back at our country and how it was in shrine in
Christian values and uphold them and rally together to bring it back
Ronald Reagans impact
One of the ways our country was better back then was the fact that we had a very conservate man
in charge. This man even upheld Christian values. This man was Ronald Reagan. This was very
unconventional because he was a former Hollywood actor and that is not verry common. Ronald
even agreed with a man named Jerry Falwell ( Tim Goeglein- Part one 2018). Ronald Reagan
truly wanted our nation to be strong and what is best for our country. When we look at our
current president, we do not see any of that. We see no strength and no wisdom. Our current
president is also a professing Catholic and does not show any use they even resemble
Catholicism. While How are you today? Reagan wanted a smaller government Biden seems to
want a much larger government. While our country is dealing with wars and inflation Reagan
fixed both of those issues in his day.
Three different attachs.
There are three separate different attacks that have been given to Christianity and this
country. The first major attack is that of the unity of marriage where people are saying two men
and two women are able to get married. “lev 20:13” says If a man lies with a male as with a
woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their
blood is upon them. The supreme court case that supports this attach is UNITED STATES V.
WINDSOR. The second attack is the attack against the lives of the unborn. “Exodus 20:13” says

thou shalt not kill. This verse even applies to the lives of the unborn. The most famous Supreme
Court trial to do with this is that of Roe V wade. The third attack is the attack on that were
religious liberties. “Romans 1:16” says I am not ashamed of the gospel. The best example of hey
Supreme Court ruling for this one is Engal Vs Vitale. In this one it was basically made illegal for
there to be prayer in public schools.
The abortion attach.
When focusing on the attack of abortion it is clear that this goes against one of the 10
commandments. This horrific act goes against the 6th 10 commandment that says don’t murder.
The first Supreme Court case that actually fights again this is unironically Roe V wade. This
court case was recently overturned and it means that states have the ability to decide on the laws
of abortion. This is a step up and a step in the right direction from the original Roe V Wade. The
next case is the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. In this case a woman
sued because abortion was limited to 15 weeks and in this case we clearly see an attack uh the
sanctity of human life in this country and a straight up disregard for it. The last case is Whole
Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt. This case said That estate may not require a physical for an
abortion.
Conclusion..
In conclusion our country did start off a very godly country and we did have very biblical
principles and have rulers that abided by the Bible. It is clear that every day our country strays
further and further from the Lord and it is our jobs as Christians to be able to bring it back and

lead a wave of revival in our great nation. One good way to do this is evangelism. The more
people that know and glorify the Lord the better. We also need to be able to teach how our
country was established by godly principles and doctrines and morals because that knowledge is
currently lost and the more people that know that maybe more people will be able to come to the
light and understand that our country is in a very steep decline.
