This impact of “process philosophy” has impacted all aspects of our society, and it would
be incredibly easy to give several small examples on every aspect. We could put emphasis on the
fact that putting so much power into the government has given us a warped view on society and
what the government’s role in that society is. Because this is a broad view of several topics, a
couple will be chosen and explained. The shift from G-d-centeredness to a man-centeredness was
the first of three overpowering revolutions, that may have been the true beginning to the
totalitarian viewpoints that many have today.[ CITATION Gle73 \l 1033 ]
Party Platform
Both parties have fallen victim to process philosophy in one way or another. However,
the democratic party is the easiest to come out with specific situations and explanations. Process
philosophy represents a process view of life that emphasizes becoming and progressive
knowledge leading to a perfect society, which stands in direct contrast to absolute philosophy or
an absolute view of life that is the basis for Biblical Christianity.[ CITATION Gai14 \l 1033 ]
The reason that this quote was used specifically is because it deeply highlights the differences in
the parties in general, and how both parties have regressed over the years. Many in the
democratic party look toward big government and social programs to take care of society,
instead of having charitable or religious organizations help those in need like they used to. It
seems that it is pushed that you must be a member of said faith for them help. The fact that
relativism replaces absolutism[ CITATION Gai14 \l 1033 ] is the main reason that process
philosophy has affected both parties. When you have moral relativism, cultural relativism and
historical relativism at least one part of your political view is going to be affected. The
democratic party has mainly been affected because socialist views have been making a very big
impact on the beliefs. We

have heard from the democratic party that they wish to change how the government is run, that
we are no longer a sovereign nation able to secure our borders and that certain things are now a
human right that have had to be obtained by us personally and by choice.
Economics
This ties into the social programs referenced above. It seems that many have taken to the
views of Marxism to the extreme, associating this economic view with the elimination of
classism and therefore making everyone equal. The social programs suggested seem to make
people more dependent on the government and that seems to be what Marxist believers want.
Marx subscribed to what might be called the “triune doctrines”: atheism, materialism and
economic determinism.[ CITATION Gle73 \l 1033 ] In layman’s terms this means that Marx did
not believe in G-d, that man is an animal that is constantly evolving and that man is a product of
his material gains. It seems like in this day and age many individuals are searching for the utopia
that Marx promised through revolution and economic holds on society.
Family and Marriage.
Process philosophy have obviously touched our government through the parties that we
have chosen to govern us and the economic values that our government and it’s citizens apply,
it has even effected how society see’s family units and marriage. Social programs have effected
family units by enforcing the belief that single parent households are ok, also causing an
alarming increase in teen motherhood. Another aspect is marriage is no longer considered a
covenant by a man and woman to each other under G-d. The government has now taken a
foothold when it comes taking away the religious implications in marriage. This is yet another
example of trying to create this “utopia” of social acceptability’s.

Process Philosophy has become this social totalitarian order, that if you don’t agree with
the process you are wrong.
