Civil Rights
As the years have passed and evolved, one thing has greatly changed to impact society as
all have come to know it. That one thing being Civil rights. It has impacted society in ways that
would be beneficial to the participants, however, there are a few that still do not agree with the
changes. In this paper, it will discuss the socialism of civil rights within the
American Government.
Socialism cannot be considered a noun; it is a verb. It requires a process to change
society in hopes for the better. It incorporates struggles that have been endured in that
change. Civil Rights has been an uphill battle since its inception. Even before slaves were
freed, there was the push for Civil Rights. It just did not hold that title. Once slaves were
freed, it was
pronounced within the government that they were seeking fair and just practices along with their
counterparts.
African Americans within the American society have pushed for their civil rights to be and
remain in the forefront of visibility to ensure it gets the justice it deserves. The American
government passed the law for equality; however, they have not enforced it to a standard that
meets African Americans requirements. The laws seem to change depending on the scenario and
its actors.
Family and Marriage
Process philosophy emerged from the failure of Romanticism-Transcendentalism, a
failure which resulted in a very profound theological shift (Martin, G. R. (2006). Process
Philosophy has definitely impacted American society over time through family and marriage.
Marriage was way different in the past as the government did not agree with having same sex

marriages. The way that it has changed, is now people are allowed to love whomever they
wish to love. That could be a woman and another woman or a man and another man. Contract
theory replaced covenant theory as man became the creator, originator, and inventor of all
human relationships, including civil government and marriage (Ferdon, 2019). In the current
day situation, they are looking at the state to dictate who will live with whom, how many
children couples will have, and all other manner of decisions which belong, Biblically, to God
and to
those united in holy matrimony under God (Martin, G. R. (2006).
The world used to operate on a certain way of people looking up to do what the
government would want them to do. The responsibilities that one used to have, they feel that they
don't have to in current situations. Families are struggling and hurting for the government to help
them and provide care for them. Putting faith in God used to be the memo. To this day the
government has agreed and made same sex marriages legal. Per their interpretation of the Bible,
people believe that it should be opposite sex marriage. People want nothing but to be happy that
they no longer feel that they have to follow the Christian thing to do.
Education
Education was not afforded to everyone. The government has changed law so that
education is available to everyone regardless of race, creed, color, or gender. To have a
biblical worldview is to interpret every aspect of life within the framework of God’s story
(Dockery, D. S., & Wax, T. (2019).
In conclusion, families are really an important piece of the government. Without the
government, there is nothing. Socialism requires something to change. And that change is
how

things were and how they are now. Once slaves who are now freed, illegal to have same
sex mariages that is now leagl, and a fight for equality to have a law passed.
