1 Corinthians 6 19-20 says “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy
Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were
bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body.” This means God created out bodies for
us to worship them. He made us all different and made no mistaking when creating us. We
should treat our bodies as such treasured temples by making sure we are consuming nothing but
the best nutrition and exercising properly to make sure our body is healthy and treasured in the
way that God wants us to.
Type IIa fibers are less fatigue resistant and produce more muscle force[ CITATION
Pow186 \l 1033 ]. Type IIb muscle fibers require a best of power for a short period of time to
produce maximum strength. An athlete that would body build would have more type IIb fast
twitch fibers versus an athlete that runs the 100-meter dash in track. When God created our
bodies, he made them perfect to his liking, in order for to complete the race he has set out for us.
With that being said, when God created us he already had a path set out for us, if he wanted an
individual to body build he created that individuals body with the abundance of fast twitch fibers
needed to successfully finish the race God had set forth for us[ CITATION Pow186 \l 1033 ].
So far everything that we have learned in these five modules have educated us on how o
lead a heathy lifestyle for Christ. In module one we learned that VO2 max van be affected by the
things that you eat, so making sure that you are eating well balanced diet will contribute to living
a healthy lifestyle. As well as module two and three which discuss the energy systems and
exercise activity, all of which are needed as well to contribute to a healthy lifestyle. Without the
energy systems in play we would be sedentary, with some of the population already predisposed
to things such as obesity and high blood pressure, being sedentary would not be healthy.
God created of aspects in order for us to follow. He has put forth things on this Earth for
us to utilize in order to be healthy and treat our bodies as such temples as they are. God did not
create our bodies for us to alter with foreign substances in order to increase our presence to
others. He created our bodies for us to cherish and nourish them with fruit and vegetables,
exercise thing of such that will help lead us to a healthy non sedentary lifestyle.
