Accessible education for all includes perspectives from a variety of backgrounds. As an
instructor, I will incorporate lessons from all learning levels. I hope to realize that every student
has needs and there will be students that have disabilities. Also, the classroom environment is
daunting for learners who have disabilities. Unfortunately, not all students are capable of
utilizing audio cues or gestures. According to Cameron (2021), “In this article, I take issue with
the idea that impairment and disability (which are not the same) can only be experienced
negatively as useless difference” (p. 338). On the other hand, it is essential to review a variety of
factors before making teaching suitable to all students. Many schools get their funding cut, so
they are not able to provide the individual attention to students. When taking standardized tests,
disabled students do not receive special attention. Students with special needs are required to
take state testing just like other students.
Classroom Assessments can be utilized in classrooms to understand how well a student
comprehends. In fact, these tests enable instructors to see how well their pupil can understand the
material. The feedback that the teacher receives can encourage instructors to slow down or speed
up the pace of their lectures so that there will be less confusion in the classroom. Cross & Palese
(2015) state, “Specifically, a certain type of formative assessment, known as classroom
assessment techniques, may actually elicit more discussion forum conversation from students
and positively and positively impact student quiz scores” (p. 98). Discussing class topics can
help students practice languages in their disciplines and encourage dialoging amongst students.
As an instructor, I have learned that there are a variety of remedial options for students.
One-On-One Tutoring gives me the opportunity to zoom in on one student. This is difficult to do
because I must focus on this student and the whole class. In addition, this type of tutoring can be
experience, so many parents are unable to afford this type of tutoring. As a child I was given
computer lessons in math. These lessons were self-paced, and my teacher would reward me with
candy if I received high scores.
To have a successful classroom, I show my students that I am interested in them. At the
beginning of each semester, I will give them a statement that will set the tone for the academic
term. Moreover, I will clearly communicate objectives and ensure that all assignments are linked
to tests. Students should support one another and exchange contact information. Overall, it is
crucial to have office hours and be available outside of the classroom. Korpershoek et al. (2016),
“Effective education refers to the degree to which schools are successful in accomplishing their
educational objectives” (p. 643). These are ways to promote the success of pupils.
Instructors should start off with basic assignments to make sure that their students are
proficient in writing. Students should be legible which will boost their cognitive skills. When I
first started college, my first assignment encouraged me to learn researching skills. Then, I
learned to apply what I learned to real-life situations. Overall, when my instructors directed me
to the right resources, then I had successful semesters.
