in reading is mental stimulation it gives to a person. Through every book, we grow our
knowledge base about diverse subjects, from history and science to philosophy and arts.
Secondly, we enlarge our vocabularies and writing skills indirectly when we get used to quality
texts. Most importantly, we must consider that books not only make us think but also help us to
analyze the information from different perspectives, improving our analytical skills.
Nevertheless, the benefits of reading are not limited to intellect growth only. Books can
also be considered as great means for nurturing empathy and cultural knowledge. The deeper we
dive into the stories of different characters, the more aspects we learn, from their outlook,
