Which type of driver are you?
There are numerous types of drivers on the road, and the reality is that driving correctly is
crucial. For this reason, drivers ought to develop a safe driving style. Every motorist should be
aware of the type of driver they are. In the bible, the book of Proverbs 3:23–26, states “You’ll
travel safely, you’ll neither tire nor trip…Because God will be right there with you; he’ll keep
you safe and sound” (New International Version). God will be with you while you're on the road,
but you ought to use wisdom. Once you're in the driver's seat, you'll realize that the most typical
driving styles on the roads are the reckless, overly cautious, and competent. Knowing what kind
of driver, you are, and improving your driving skills can save countless lives.
Firstly, a reckless driver is one who appears to be inattentive or is thoughtless. Most of the time,
they appear to approach the streets as if they are late or hurrying, and a common bad behavior is
pressing the gas pedal all the way to the floor in the middle of a light changing from yellow to
red. They appear to enjoy horning at the vehicle in front as soon as the light turns green; they fail
to adhere to traffic laws; they consistently use technology such as smartphones or tablets while
driving; and several of them also smoke.
Second, the overly cautious motorist goes above and beyond the requirements of the road,
prefers to leave early to allow for any potential delays along the road. They tend to show more
consideration, respect, and self-care than usual. They usually drive at the bare minimum speed,
watch out for concealed authorities and speeding cameras, are the ones who are most terrified of
receiving fines or parking tickets.
Finally, a competent driver is one who drives with extreme confidence. They accept the rules of
the transit system as they are supposed to, but occasionally they exhibit a sense of superiority.
The most prevalent types of drivers are those who are reckless, extremely careful, and
competent. Driving safely saves lives; therefore, it is critical to practice safe driving. Although
competent and overly cautious are the more acceptable types, recklessness is the one that
everyone should avoid since it is risky and can bring harm to themselves and others. The book of
proverbs 14:16 states,” One who is wise is cautious and turns away from evil, but a fool is

reckless and careless (NIV). As more people have the need or desire to own a vehicle, at some
point they will encounter the different kinds of driving that exist, but if the appropriate method is
followed, individuals will be safer while driving.
